Quenet Golden Retrievers

Sarah Curry has always loved gundogs. When i was first married we had several cocker spaniels. However, i had always wanted to own a golden retriever and once i moved to the Sussex countryside i purchased our first bitch, Stoli (Bedeslea Crazy Little Thing) in 1996.

Stoli was mated with Rayleas Dempsey and this started my long association with Catherine and Sven Zingg who have proved to be a great support to my breeding activities. I kept one of the puppies, Bear (Quenet Rosier Serenade) who was subsequently mated with Alibren Maestro to produce Panda (Quenet Coeur D'Amour).

I have named our line after French family name Nanette Quenet and used the names of roses as my house is called Rosier Gate. I now have five generations living under my roof!

My girls are first and foremost family pets but have all been obedience trained. All my dogs have passed the Kennel Club Good Citizens Bronze, Silver and Gold Tests. All the girls like to follow me when i am out horse riding and it keeps them fit. I strongly encourage anyone who purchases one of my puppies to start obedience training as soon as it is practical. Golden Retrievers are lovely companions and training them is a joy as they are so eager to please.
